The Chancellor of the Exchequer, more commonly referred to as the Chancellor, is a Senior Minister of the Crown and responsible for the economic affairs of the Empire of Great Britain. They are appointed by the Sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister and sit ex-officio as a Member of the Cabinet. The Chancellor can be a Member of Parliament, but this is not always the case.
This office, known as an interior minister in other regions, was created by Prime Minister Colfax County on 20 October 2018, after the region had settled from moving from another region. While the purpose of the role has not changed over time, it specific duties and responsibilities have changed many times. The incumbent Chancellor is Charles Wright.
