Matthew Somerset, The Duke of Somerset's third tenure as Prime Minister of Great Britain began on the 13 November 2024 when he accepted an invitation from Charles III to form a Government in his name, and concluded upon his resignation on the 5 December 2024. He led the Conservative & Unionist Coalition and as such formed a majority during the 36th Parliament of Great Britain. During this time, Somerset also served as First Lord of the Treasury and as Leader of the Conservative Party. He was the eighth Prime Minister of Charles III, the sixth to be elected, and the first Conservative Party PM since Harold Macmillan (though the two parties, despite sharing a name, are not related). It is the shortest of Somersets' three tenures in 10 Downing Street.

This short Premiership is generally looked upon as an average to below-average tenure, where little progressive reform was achieved save for the Conservative December Budget Act, which was a noted departure from the expansive, BWP-backed budgets of the previous Premiership. Key policy pledges such as a change in electoral methods, and the return of the controversial Address-in-Reply, ultimately never came to fruition.
