The Second Strathmore was formed on 19 November 2025, when 2nd Earl of Strathmore was appointed as Prime Minister in the name of King George VII, following the resignation of Josephine Somerset Carew, The Duchess of Bedford. It concluded on the 9 December 2025, when Strathmore went on to win a mandate at the Second December 2025 General Election.
