The Second Sidmouth Ministry was formed on the 6 December 2024, following the appointment of Thomas Carew, The Viscount Sidmouth as Prime Minister, following the resignation of Matthew Somerset, The Duke of Somerset. It lasted until the 1 January 2025, when Charles III abdicated as monarch, and as such the Prime Minister was invited to form the first Government under George VII.
