The Secretary of State for Gameside Development, more commonly referred to as the Gameside Development Secretary, is a senior Minister of the Crown responsible for fostering gameside engagement and developing the gameside environment. They are appointed by the Sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister and sit ex-officio as a Member of the Cabinet.
This office was created by Prime Minister Charles Wright, The Viscount Kirkwall on 20 March 2025, to assist in combatting low gameside nation count. It was later renamed from Overseas to Gameside by Thomas Carew, The Marquess of Dorchester to reflect its domestic nature on 21 June 2025.
The first Secretary of State for Gameside Development was Albus Chamberlain. The longest-serving Gameside Secretary is Sir Xavier Sherwood, who held the post for 41 days. The shortest-serving Gameside Secretary is Charles Wright, The Viscount Kirkwall, who held the post for 22 days.
The incumbent Gameside Development Secretary is Josephine Carew, Marchioness of Dorchester, who has been in the position since the 21 June 2025.
