The Leader of the House of Commons is a Minister of the Crown responsible for organising government business in the House of Commons. They are appointed by the Sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister and sit ex-officio as a Member of the Cabinet. The Leader is always a Member of Parliament.

This office was created by Prime Minister Josephine Carew-Grey, The Baroness Wilton on 1 July 2024. Its responsibilities haven't changed over time, but it's not often appointed.
