Sir Jacob Alaric Sherwood AM is a British League politician and parliamentarian who currently serves as the Leader of the League of Independent and Optimistic Nationals. He is most well known for founding the LION party, and for his prevalence in recent Premierships, previously serving in a variety of roles such as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State for the Home Office, and Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport.

A Member of the Sherwood Family, he is the brother of established politicians Esther Sherwood-Wright and Oscar Sherwood, The Baron Greenthorpe, and belongs to the wider Clan Bruce. He resides in Australia, at the Sherwoods primary estate, and in residences in both London and his constituency of Cardiff.
