Sir Jacob Alaric Sherwood AM is a British Green Sovereignty politician who currently serves as Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport. He is most well known for founding the LION party, and for his prevalence in recent Premierships, previously serving in a variety of roles such as Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Secretary of State for the Home Office, and Secretary of State for Culture, Media, and Sport, as well as Leader of the Opposition. A former Member of Parliament for Cardiff West, he is currently retired from Parliamentary politics, following a record four Electoral defeats in a row. He is, nevertheless, active politically.

A Member of the Sherwood Family, he is the brother of established politicians Esther Sherwood-Wright and Oscar Sherwood, The Baron Greenthorpe, and belongs to the wider Clan Bruce. He resides in Australia, at the Sherwoods primary estate, and in residences in both London and his former constituency of Cardiff.
