The Executive Act 2024 was a legislative proposal by William Somerset, The Earl of Durham that replaced the 2021 edition of the same. It defined the role of the Prime Minister and their selection process. It also established HM Government in legislation.

The 2024 edition (known simply as 'The Executive Act' with no date designation) was utilised to abolish the Address-in-Reply as per a campaign promise of the Premiership of the 2nd Viscount Douglas.

The passage of the Executive Act was initially falsely declared successful in the House of Commons by then-speaker Llywellyn Evans-Jones, The Baron St Brides, who did not hold it to the required 'Qualified' (2/3) majority for an Organic Act to pass according to the Organic Procedures Act 2023. This resulted in both the Prime Minister, William, and the Speaker, Llywellyn, being taken to court over the matter. However, by this point, William had already submitted and passed resolutions of both houses to call a joint session, utilising the whipped support of the House of Lords to outweigh the opposition in the House of Commons and formally pass the act through parliament with the required qualified majority. This sequence of events was referenced in Thomas Carew's biography, My Kindest Regards.
