Duchess of Bedford and Duchess of Windsor is a title in the Peerage of Great Britain. The seat of the dukedom is Cumberland Lodge on the Windsor Estate in Windsor, Berkshire. The current holder is Josephine Somerset Carew, The Duchess of Bedford. The title was created on 28 July 2025 by George VII in celebration of Unification Day, the seventh anniversary of the founding of the Empire. [1] This creation was in recognition of "distinguished service to the Empire of Great Britain".
