The Permanent Under-Secretary of State for the Cabinet Office, known informally as the Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary, is the second-most senior civil servant of the Cabinet Office. They serve as the de facto deputy of the Cabinet Secretary.
The current Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary is Prince Tobias, 3rd Duke of Edinburgh, serving since 28 July 2025.
