National Government

The National Government was an overall coalition agreement created in the fallout of the August 2024 General Election, which originally resulted in a hung Parliament. With the Heron Party (and an Independent) tying with 5 votes against the Unionist-Workers' Coalition, a compromise candidate was considered the best way forward. Ultimately, a Government encompassing all parties was formed under the leadership of Thomas Carew, The Viscount Sidmouth.
