The Businesses Act 2020 was a proposed bill aimed at regulating and formalizing the establishment of businesses within the Empire of Great Britain. Introduced on 23 August 2020 by Ulrich Bauheim, MP for Belfast West, it was the first economically focused legislation based on the forum’s potential. The bill never reached a vote due to its failure to adhere to the legislative format, which was under review as part of ongoing debates to establish a new framework.[1]
